Dissecting the meaning of ‘Making Waves Outreach’

Making Waves = to cause trouble; to disturb the status quo (Source)

Outreach = an activity of providing services to any populations who might not otherwise have access to those services. In addition to delivering services, outreach has an educational role, raising the awareness of existing services (Source)

Making Waves Outreach is a personal outreach effort and is managed by myself only. Although partnerships from like-minded interests/efforts are always welcome, I am just one person with a goal to help make a difference in the world. I am not a group or organization, nor am I affiliated with any group or organization–despite the name I have chosen to reflect my work.

Here is an overview of the information and services I provide:

Merchandise – I have created and offer over 30 flyers than span a variety of animal rights issues so that others may order and distribute these in their community to help raise awareness. In order to help animals in need, we need to change how people perceive and feel about animals, especially farm animals.

Blog – I usually blog daily or at least every other day, depending on what I want to share. I also do Reblogs. Check out Recently Posted at the top right column for the latest additions to the site; scroll down for Categories and Archives if you feel like digging around to see what I have discussed in the past — there’s more than enough to keep you busy. I started this blog in November 2015 and it has grown by leaps and bounds.

Partners – If you support my efforts and want to be recognized as a partner, drop me a note and I will add you on my Partners page. You will have the option to submit a photo, include a short bio and a link to your website or social media page. I do random shout outs on Instagram as a thank you.

Making Waves Outreach disseminates information to the public via website, social media and the more than 30 flyers it has to offer. Everything is done in the name of awareness. I also include some lighthearted content for a healthy balance.
